Oda and Tsuji family
Fall of Kanbe Jo castle in 1590, Oda Nobunaga’s son Oda Nobukatsu orderd unit of elite samurai bodyguards and nanny for grand son to escape. He was secretly grew up and trained in Tsuji village in Kishu prefecture what is now Mie prefecture. After Ieyasu defeated Hideyoshi, and became Shogun, Nobunaga’s dream of peace finally came true at last. Oda Chobei’s son become Tsuji Chouemon, and returned to Kyoto, his ancestral lands. Tsuji Chouemon built the Sumiyoshi ya and training in Kobujutsu continued generation after generations.
